New Waste Management Plan for Bærum Municipality

Mepex was selected as a consultant when Bærum municipality announced a competition for professional assistance in developing a new waste management plan. With new requirements and guidelines from the EU, strict criteria for goal achievement have been set for the municipality. A shift in approach is required to meet the EU requirement of 65% material recycling of household waste by 2035.

Mepex conducted two workshops to gather input for the planning process from various sectors in the municipality. The workshops resulted in clear goals and performance indicators, providing inspiration and direction for further work..
